Some Tips on How to Meditate

With the stresses of everyday live remember to pace yourself , enjoy the people you’re surrounding yourself with and take a few moments to check in. You only need a few minutes to meditate.

Set a time limit – pick a time and set a timer for the amount of time you intend to meditate. .

Take a seat – Find a place to sit that feels calm and quiet to you.

Feel your breath – Follow the sensation of your breath as it goes in and as it goes out.

Notice your body – You can sit in a chair with your feet on the floor, you can sit loosely cross-legged, you can kneel, all are fine.

Close with kindness – Take a moment and notice any sounds in the environment. Notice how your body feels right now. Notice your thoughts & emotions.
